The Washington Wizards and Budweiser are proud to present the Inaugural Wizards Cornhole Tournament powered by United Social Sports Wizards Cornhole Tournament details • WHO: Cornhole players and Wizards fans worldwide • WHAT: The First annual Washington Wizards Cornhole Tournament – a beanbag bonanza that will determine the best bag tossers in DC. Boards will be placed throughout the Verizon Center concourse, with teams facing off in pools before weeding down to a final head-to-head bracket which will determine the winner of our $500 cash prize. Every entered team is guaranteed multiple games in pool play before the field is cut down, though the fun doesn’t end upon elimination - all teams will also have Wizards tickets for the Pacers game that night at 7pm, PLUS get complementary wristbands to partake in the Wizards Bar Tour, good for $2 Buds at 6 local bars until tipoff! Budweiser stands will also be open inside Verizon Center during the event. • WHEN: Saturday, April 6, 1-4:30 PM prior to the Wizards game vs. the Indiana Pacers. All players will pick up their game tickets, Bar Tour wristbands and begin pool play between 1 and 3pm. Teams will be notified of their start time in advance of the tourney. • WHERE: Tournament check-in will be on the 4th floor at Verizon Center and the boards will be placed inside the arena throughout the concourse. Verizon Center is located at 601 F St. NW, on top of the Gallery Place metro stop. • HOW DO I GET INVOLVED? To order the all-in-one package that includes Wizards vs Pacers game tickets for your team of 2 or 4, plus entry to the inaugural Washington Wizards Cornhole Tournament and a Wizards Bar Tour wristband for everyone, simply follow these steps: ** Get the word out to your friends and get your team together ASAP – there’s a limited # of spaces in the tourney field and we anticipate these will sell out well before April 6! ** Fill out the form below with your name, team name, and contact info ** Select your preferred tournament package seat locations (Upper Level or Club Level) ** Hang tight – a Wizards rep will contact you within 1 business day to finalize your registration |
